Town Hall a Success!

Thanks to everyone who attended yesterday’s Town Hall meeting. We had good questions and positive feedback from residents and appreciate the interest, even on a night when there were many events to choose from in Vernonia. We reviewed current project cost estimates as well as progress on project funding. Steve Anderson, Vice President of P&C Construction gave an update on the project timeline (we hope to break ground sometime in early November). He indicated that he will be setting up a meeting with contractors and sub-contracts for local contractors and workers to attend, as well as a neighborhood meeting for all OA Hill residents to address construction concerns. He indicated that these meetings will happen prior to the beginning of construction.
